# Codex Execution Instruction

## Objective

Fix the GitOps workspace reports directory permission issue so the Agent OS acceptance report can be committed.
|
|
|

## Context
|
|
Current blocked path:
|
|
|
|
/data/aios-gitops/workspace/reports/
|
|
|
|
Error:
|
|
|
|
Permission denied
|
|
|
|
## Execution Steps
|
|
|
|
1. Enter workspace:
|
|
|
|
cd /data/aios-gitops/workspace
|
|
|
|
2. Check current user and permissions:
|
|
|
|
whoami
|
|
id
|
|
ls -ld reports
|
|
|
|
3. Create directory if missing:
|
|
|
|
mkdir -p reports
|
|
|
|
4. Fix ownership and write permission for this directory only:
|
|
|
|
chown -R <gitops-user>:<gitops-group> reports
|
|
chmod -R u+rwX reports
|
|
|
|
5. Verify write access:
|
|
|
|
touch reports/.write-test
|
|
rm reports/.write-test
|
|
|
|
6. Commit pending acceptance report changes after verification.
|
|
|
|
## Constraints
|
|
|
|
- GitOps only.
|
|
- No force push.
|
|
- No chmod 777.
|
|
- Do not modify unrelated directories.
|
|
- Do not write secrets.
|
|
- Production changes require approval.
|
|
|
|
